Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech in MechanicalRole & Responsibilities1. Read & understanding client requirement from tender documents.
2. Checking and clear all detail engineering drawings like, foundation layout, piping layout, piping isometric drawing, pipe support layout drawings, Tank GA drawing, Skid GA drawings, etc.
3. Prepare basic engineering calculation i.e. equipment sizing calculation, process calculations, Dyke area calculations, Neutralization Pit sizing calculation, Pressure drop calculation, pipe support calculation, Tank/ vessel thickness design calculation as per ASME or API standard.
4. Preparation of technical inquiry documents for mechanical equipment & valves etc. & given to Project/Purchase for further gathering vendor quotations
5. Technical validation of offer with respect to inquiry documents and tender specifications.
6. Preparation of mechanical datasheets as per detail engineering & tender specifications. and Prepare BOQ
7. Basic process knowledge of Water treatment plant.
8. Review and clear P&ID drawings and make it ready for client submission.
9. Depth knowledge of equipment layout arrangement with respect to safety, operation & maintenance feasibility, piping routine arrangement feasibility
10. Coordination with sales team and customer for technical issue and documents approval.
11. Coordination with manufacturing to meet customer requirements.
12. Corrective and preventive action taken for the design problems reported during manufacturing.
13. Documentation and data control of engineering/projects.
14. Client/ Consultant visit for Drawing-Documents approval & Vendor communication/ Client communication for technical clearance.
15. Hazop study participation with client & 3D model review meeting with client/ consultant.
