Job Description
• preparing 2D layout for Fire Hydrant system, Sprinkler system, Fire Alarm system,
Fire Suppression system, PHE system
• studying tender drawings for quantity verification
• quantifying as per drawing
• cross checking quantities with BOQ
• preparing shop drawings
• preparing as-built drawings
• concept drawings
• maintaining TDS for all equipments proposed in drawing
• maintaining drawing tracker site wise
• email communication with internal and external person for necessary updates and
information
• Preparation of technical drawings based on rough sketches, specification and
calculations from engineers, surveyors and architects and MEP engineers
• To critically review the relevant documents prior to start of construction e.g IFC,
Project Specification etc
• Prepares calculations for drawings of plumbing, piping and fire systems
• Design change requirements, including but not limited to piping, plumbing, fire
fighting design
• Identify any deviation in the design and provide justification for the deviation.
• Experience in design detailing.
• Report to Director as well as site personnel for smooth coordination for design work
• Experienced in local Procedures
• be able to prepare quick, simple and accurate hand calculations to check the designs
• Be familiar with relevant codes.
